Emma came to her yoga practice after 20 years of being a track and field athlete. Yoga helped her recover and heal from sport injuries and also became a means of self-expression. She could dive deep, focusing keenly on sensations in the body, mind, emotional self, and spirit.
Emma holds an MA in Philosophy, an MSc in Developmental Psychology, and has completed a 250-hour teacher training in the 26 & 2 series of Hatha Yoga. She is passionate about helping others find joy and expression in life, both on and off the yoga mat. She believes that the body is a wondrous place to learn about self and purpose, and being of service to others is her ultimate path.
Emma is also an artist, mainly using acrylic on canvas and ink pens. She is currently studying Physiology and Anatomy, working towards her pre-medical requirements. She teaches high-energy classes at Yorebels that are assured to get you inspired!
