Description

Our classic mat Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Mat Pilates is a challenging, yet safe method to lengthen and sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements. Classes will be taught using structured and controlled movements.

Classic Pilates is based on a traditional series of exercises designed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, performed in the precise sequence he had intended, with the purpose of achieving complete coordination of body, mind and spirit.
